Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental
OUR VISION AND MISSION
Tom and Rita's home and mission base is in Dumaguete City, the city of gentle people, Negros Oriental. However, the minstryof building the church takes them to various cities and provinces throughout the Philippines. While living in the United States they have been working with ministry teams to strengthen and establish local churches while building relational bridges at home and abroad. They will continue such work in the Philippines and other countries as the Lord gives the opportunity.ity.
It is our mission to lead people to Jesus Christ while providing them with education, food, and clothing. It is our belief that every person has a place reserved for them within the Kingdom of God and the only way to acquire that place is by becoming an integral member of the body of Christ through faith in the shed blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our Mission is accomplished through such ministries as:
Tom and Rita have been married for forty-five years and have five children and sixteen wonderful grandchildren. For many years Blackwell, Oklahoma was home. However, in 1991, their church, The Tablernacle, found it necessary to send Tom, Rita and their children to the Philippine Islands to become the Directors of Asian Christian School of Ministry. For four years they traveled from island to island ministering, building relationships, and training workers for the harvest. However, in 1995, it was time for Bobby and Noemi Pino to become the directors of ACSM and the Hutchens family returned to the United States. Many trips have been made over the past twenty years, relationships have been strengthened, bridges built between nations, and other nations have been added. So in March of 2015, Tom and Rita returned to the island of Negros Oriental to live.
